By no stretch of the imagination can being a theist be considered immoral, in my opinion.
Thoughts, opinions, and beliefs, as much as some might find them immoral or repellent, are not necessarily immoral.
What we DO with those opinions, beliefs, or thoughts, can be.
I have VERY dark thoughts at times, but I don't act on them...
...mostly...
...and those that I do I consider a public service.
What you do with those beliefs can be.
Now some will vehemently disagree with what I say, and that's what makes discussion great.
However, on the subject of religion alone, I don't think the BELIEF is, in itself, immoral.
