Face facts Brian, Oprahs policies wouldn't stray far from typical hard right policies, apart from increased support for woo cures to health problems.

As a woman totally dependant on the current system, Oprah's not going to bite the corporate hand that feeds her.

I'm sure Oprah is socially liberal, willing to combat climate change, and support health care for all. Aside from political experience, how was Hillary any better?

Aside from political experience? Lol. Aside from what matters the most, how is she better? My main gripe with Trump has always been that he's not qualified to do the job. Democrats want to have it both ways, where they can criticize Trump and praise Oprah for the exact same thing. C'mon, Oprah isn't even qualified to do what she does, in my opinion. She promotes garbage pseudo science regularly, is a Jesus freak and worst of all, gave Dr. Phil a show.

I don't see this as a positive trend. Leadership by celebrity as opposed to leadership by ability/policy.
