Yeah, my Mom used to say that.  Kind of like "the Bible says it" or "a preacher said it" and that ends it.  Question a book or an illiterate con-artist witch doctor and you'll go to hell just for doubting.  Well, the Bible was written by con artist witch doctors who thought that demons caused all illness and that stars were pinned in the dome of the sky (and god could move them - even stop the sun that orbited the earth) and that when it rained too much or too little it meant that god was mad.  All religious teachings only have two purposes: to control others and take their money.

Many xtians give of themselves when it's very inconvenient  . . . sure, everybody knows that.  They believe that they are piling up treasures in heaven.

 Those treasures are most likely not physical, spiritual treasures would be more appropriate. We will have no need for physical treasure, the streets are paved with gold, gold will be used as pavement. By being obedient to God we will have some sort of treasures and I can assure you I'm not counting, God will take care of everything.

You've made a lot of claims, now it's time prove them. I'm sorry you were disowned that isn't the way Christians are suppose to act, if you had been part of my family you wouldn't have been disowned but instead loved. That verse has nothing to do with disowning people and everything to do with loving them, people don't try to dig into the scriptures to find out what Jesus was saying.

You didn't answer my question.  At all.  "spiritual treasures"     "Dig into the scriptures"         God doesn't exist.   
"You've made a lot of claims, now it's time prove them."  That's where all the preachers get it wrong.  Yeah, they've had thousands upon thousands of years where the witch doctor could shake his rattle, make faces, and say "if you don't believe me GREAT POOBAH is going to GET you" and scare the crap out of people who thought that great poobah made the rain.  You claim there is a god.  I say that the evidence seems to be stacked against this, and I require proof of a deity.  And the preachers just go back to their personal feelings and fantasies and silly nature claims and nasty book.  If a book is proof, then sparkly vampires are coming to get you.
