No, it's because I have far higher standards than you. I run under scientific principles, Occam's Razer, credible evidence (verifiable evidence) and the such. You and many like you don't ask for such things, you'll be more than happy to take it all on faith alone, no problems when it comes to taking people's word for it.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and if you claim without evidence, it can be dismissed without evidence.

People world over would hate my guts, so why does god get a free pass? What's his excuse for not acting?

What is the purpose of god? Why does he exist?
