Atheism was a natural reaction against (false) religion in the first place. France 1790 AD.

Nope atheism has existed for way longer then 1790 . And there is no unified orgin of atheism it's popped up throughout time and across civilizations

From what I have read, there is a natural connection to God, which may be occluded by false religion, but remains intact until further notice.
