Since all of the biblical stories are based upon the real Ten Commandments found in Exodus 34:10-28 they are examples of what happens when they are obeyed or ignored. Every issue has a counter-point example. It's a really well-written piece of literature that was written by English writers in the 690s. It's the gold standard for fairy tales.
Not really. There are three versions given and jebus' version had only five and there were actually 613 commandments which christians conveniently forget.
Those are not hard rules, merely guidelines.
