This is a better example of what I was talking about in the 'shithole' thread about the liberals who control the social narrative being really awful at picking battles.
Almost everyone is on board with the idea that sexual violence is bad. But somehow they take it to a place that is so indefensible, they end up fighting with Matt Damon and Bill Maher.
Over and over, they take a position that is generally reasonable/popular, but then keep tacking on nonsense, until they've alienated everyone willing to do any critical thinking. And because they are bad at math, they say "Fuck 'em, we don't need those jerks." because they have no idea their dopiness has whittled their groups support down to 25% of the population.
