What was offenssive at the end? I watched that movie when it came out but don't remember the ending well at all...

The main character travels into a black hole, enters a higher dimension of space time built by future humans, and manages to manipulate his daughters watch in the past to "encode" quantum data in Morse code within the movements of the second hand, which she is then able to use to get humanity off of the dying Earth. Something about love transcending dimensions made it possible.

Its insulting to general intelligence. Its possibly the single worst ending to a sci-fi film I've ever seen. The movie seemed to pay so much attention to detail with physics, time dilation, wormholes, etc. Then they ruin it at the end by throwing it all out and creating a mishmash of pseudoscience, bad science, romance and just plain old ridiculousness.

Please, Tibby, tell me why Interstellar's ending was so bad, but apparently this was better.
