RE: Man Uses $1m Win To Finally Visit Doctor, Gets Terminal Cancer Diagnosis, Dies

Sigh. Some years ago I had what I thought was a strained calf muscle, but it was persistent. Eventually, I went to my local doc. Within minutes, I found myself in ICU, my feet did not touch the floor. Literally the stretcher bashed through doors like the movies. The result? DVT and you are lucky to be alive, have six months of blood thinners.
The odd thing is that not once did anyone ask for my med insurance number at any point even though I have it.
In third world America I would have simply been told to go die in a fire
