Movies you hate but everyone else loves

^^^ Yeah, I gotta agree, this thread is making me say "WTF!? How can you hate that movie?" again and again... but it seems apropos.

Anyway, my $0.02: Citizen Kane.

I was SO hyped for it. Everyone was saying "best film ever"... And I just didn't think it was all that great.

It's relative to the time period in which it was realized. Some ground breaking cinematography.

The Revenant. 

Two hours of guys walking around in the snow on cloudy days, followed by a ten-minute fight. One of the most over-hyped movies of all time. Turned into an Emperor Has no Clothes scenario - everyone felt like they had to say it was great even though it sucked.

I fuckin loved that movie.
