While virtually every example of countries that have universal health care are capitalist, I wouldn't call it capitalist in nature. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I'm certainly no expert, but that's not what I learned in economics.
Capitalism simply refers to a economic system where the means of production are controlled privately and operated for profit. It says nothing about who owns the services.
I know that much (just enough to pass exams, if you will), but wouldn't universal health care or single-payer health care be non-Capitalist by definition?
