As far as the latter drivel goes, don't you think people invested in the market (i.e. people with 401k and IRA accounts) would want the market to succeed, regardless of who is sitting in the Oval Office? A lot of us are close enough to retirement that this shit matters. Do you even think this shit through before it leaks out your cakehole?
Personally, what I find galling about this is that Field Marshall Dodger von Bonespur is really quick to take credit for the bull market he inherited, but he's strangely silent when the dow drops over a thousand points twice in the same week on his watch.
