I witnessed this type of behavior more than once with 'atheists' and wondered how many of you could admit this type of behavior in your own life.
When in need cry out to God and when 'safe' tell god to eff off..
if not you then perhaps an alternate you in the multi-verse. after all I think one out of the 50 ricks remained atheist in his convictions while the other groveled.
If one could admit this, you are 1/2 way home, all we need do then is identify the preceived freedom you think you have with 'God.' Then I ca show you that freedom is nothing more than a philosophical illusion.

Absolutely and unwaveringly...and incomprehensibly.Indeed as there are neither an example of a "True Christian" nor a 'true atheist' on this website. Both are 'practicing.' For the Christian, one is allowed to 'miss the mark.' while the atheist follows much tighter rules and must maintain a closed mind about all that he thinks he already knows.

Only the proud presupposes a God and then looks to make his world view fit (hence schisms) the Humble seek God in whatever he can comprehend and changes when confronted by a contradiction. If you did not cry out to God, then why would you expect Him to answer?
I believe I would know first and foremost what I did, before anyone else, since my thoughts and my actions are my own. As to the concept of god, the only logical version is the one each individual personally thinks into imaginative existence; thus schisms.
Quote: Everyone can universally agree that a rock is a rock, because a rock can empirically be shown to exist; the same cannot be stated for god--thus schisms. This is a bad analogy as you are comparing a common place item with something harder to find. Let say my 'rock' is a diamond
While you may see only a rock I have been made aware of it value and facets. While you have been taught to trivialize what makes my diamond more valuable than your common place rock. Schism occur when we create narratives as to why or the nature of the value of the diamond, that are different from
Quote: There would currently be no reason for me to cry out to a god that does not exist, and I logically expect no answer from that which does not exist.Me either. How ever I do cry out to God, as I have stood before Him.
Quote: If I was to call out to that which does not exist, especially if I was to expect an answer from that which does not exist, I would understand myself as having lost touch with reality.what if your 'reality' is a fraction of what is out there?
What if you were a mole cricket would your "reality" dictate Reality? How much more is there of the cosmos than what your 'reality would contain as a mole cricket or even now?
We are so certain that science only knows a fraction of the secrets of the universe, but is also 100% certain that God can not be apart of that equasion??? why?
Hence the cartoon and what I find so funny. Science has a lock on what is 'real' till it doesn't, then all bets are off till it finds footing again.
