Lol, I've been in jail before, not for anything I'd consider a crime, but for my general disrespect for the law. As a bike delivery person, I've probably run around 100 red lights a month. If the law is pointless, then obeying it is pointless. I actually break petty pointless laws very regularly, mostly out of bounds camping laws, or dodging fees in national parks. More when I was younger and weed was illegal. I also had quite the shoplifting habit back then, and I never felt bad about it. In fact I felt pretty morally justified in some cases, especially stealing from dnc, the consesionaire company in the national parks. They are an evil morally bankrupt company. I think stealing from them is a net positive morally.
Also as a dungeon master I certainly would require a chaotic good character to behave as one, not just have some sort of vague philosophical belief about it. Y'all a bunch of lawful good people or lawful neutral mostly.
