Favorite Star Trek Ship Design

While I'm partial to Romulan ships in general, I really liked the Sovereign class Enterprise E and the Defiant (as see on DS9).  Also, the refit Constitution class Enterprise.

I really like the defiant . It's not a big capital ship . It's a sleek scrappy small scale skirmisher. It was also specifically built to kill Borg.

And the idea of it is perfect from a design-goal perspective. Goal: find something that can bitchslap the Borg, design: slap a whole load of guns onto a whole load of engines and strap everything down hard.

Rumours that the ship was originally going to be called Ben Sisko's Mothafuckin' Pimp Hand are entirely accurate.
