How can you succeed in your life?

The sad thing is, I actually considered asking for a job. I'm in dire straits financially right now, and if there's one thing I know I'm good at, it's writing academic papers. But earning a living this way would go against everything I hold sacred. I want to be an educator some day. I shouldn't get there by helping students pass their classes without actually learning the material. I want to be an educator because I believe in the value of education. So, yeah, I think I'll find another way to drum up some cash.
