Disagree wholeheartedly. One does have the undeniable right to be picky about who one dates. Common ground and personal taste are very important. I certainly have no problem with that. However, where I disagree is this. If she's willing to make a big stink over this guy's "geeky" interests, and harass him, in print no less, than a pretentious bitch deserves to be called out as a pretentious bitch.
I'm not a gamer at all - I mean ... at ALL, but I find her nerve to very publicly insult and attempt to embarrass a man just because she doesn't find an interest of his to be cool or acceptable is bull shit, and she is certainly worthy of some level of harassment. Which is what I am doing. Furthermore, I think if one can dish it out - than one can certainly take it.
My opinion --- she got what was coming to her.
