She is smart. And she works hard. And she's trying to get shit done.
And when you put her in a general election, where she has to pretend to care deeply about the dumb shit dumb Americans care about, she just didn't have the acting chops. Romney had the same problem.
I don't think she likes her base. Does she seem like the vapid type that'd go put a pussy hat on her head, and march around for a day, and then pat herself on the back for 'standing up for women's rights'? She's too smart and accomplished for that horseshit. She wanted to shape the world on a global stage, not give McDonald workers an extra 2 dollars an hour.
But most of what she had to do to get elected involved pandering to the peon's issue of the day.
Even with being a woman. No vibe I got from Hillary ever made me think she thought of herself as a woman breaking glass ceilings. That was more horseshit for the pussy hat idiots. But she had to act like she cared.
I didn't vote for her, because I thought she was a globalist hawk who was going to represent the world's most rich and powerful, and I thought trying something else for a change might be nice. Bernie and Trump both offered that possibility to some degree. It was very unlucky for her to run into 1st black candidate in 2008, then a populist surge in 2016.
