Your argument can be applied to anything.
Quote:We can clearly observe arrangement, complexity, design, and order throughout the universe.Just because you perceive everything to be designed and ordered doesn't make it so. Ignorance is in all, even I am ignorant of the workings of the cosmos. You on other hand, you like to pretend you have it all figured out. I'm not afraid to admit not knowing something.
Quote: The possibility of a single, all powerful, intelligent, energy source (God) still remains ( This is more logical). I think it is likely that a creator of some kind exists. In all probability, you're wrong. You are free to assert that it was a god if you want. Changes nothing though.
We don't know how all this came about, and I for one don't pretend otherwise. It would be foolish and arrogant.
We should use the known to help explain the unknown, not the other way round. That is logical. You're trying to use an unknown (god) to explain the known (the cosmos). It's logic in reverse.
You don't believe in god through reason but through desire, you WANT there to be a god.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan
Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.
Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
