It occurred to me, btw, that a food analogy might actually be workable. Consider a vegetarian who loves steak but somehow needed to be informed that steak was meat. Now, in their case..we can see that putting down the fork isn't a phobia. It's an ethical or moral objection. Not for nothing..the god bothers objection to any isolated issue of trans and what to do when they find themselves attracted..is exactly the same, in principle..though many of us probably would still consider that an irrational fear, and note that it's likely to be at least partially informed by indoctrinated transphobic beliefs, lol.
