Bullshit. Accepting that we 'die at the end' is the most likely scenario doesn't mean that's what we want. It would be nice if there were an afterlife to look forward to. And I know you've heard that from 'weak atheists' before, so you are consciously lying about us. Thus far, the Abrahamic religions have failed to portray an appealing afterlife, but that's a different matter.
An end is preferable (to me) to infinite punishment for finite crimes or spending eternity as a blissed-out lobotomized version of myself that doesn't care about people being tortured meanwhile for violating a dead Arab's sense of propriety. The problem with even the best version of heaven though, is not that it's not pleasant, but that it is highly unlikely that it actually exists.
