I was still a Christian, but it was all the world I knew, so I didn’t know I was missing out on anything. That’s when I met a group of friends that are still my friends today. Funny thing, they were atheist and I was their Christian friend. We’d walk down to the beach from my house and climb some huge rocks. We’d sit there looking at the ocean and talking about the future. One of them wanted to be a psychiatrist. He’s a psychiatrist now. Another wanted to be an architect. He’s an architect now. One wanted to build bridges. He’s an engineer now. I wanted to be a preacher. I do sometimes wonder where I’d be today if I had grown up with a different world view. I wonder, but I don’t dwell. At least I’m not still dreaming of being a preacher haha

I might have a picture. I’ll look for it
