In all seriousness I am amazed at the extent of laparoscopic surgery now. One of the women in our dog rescue just had a full hip replacement done that way on a Monday and by Friday she was back tending to the dogs at the veterinary hospital she covers for us.
In 1965 I had cartilage surgery on my knee and was in the hospital for a week. I still have a seven inch scar.
