Future cannot be known before it happens, some of it over all structure can, but destiny is being written as it goes.

I thought Muhammad was a prophet ??

The word "Nabi" although translated to Prophet has nothing to do with informing of future, it simply has to do with being a news giver from God or rather is an information giver from God, while a Messenger (Rasool) is that, but further, it is expressed that is upon them to deliver the message and bring the proof down to all intellects and levels of understanding.
