What happens when a persons belief system is so intimately connected with a given bit of psuedo-science, that it being discredited creates an existential threat to the faith position? I'd say our new friend CDF is what happens.
You are still trying to argue that that which is not rational has no basis in reality. I don't believe this as you do.
I was actually responding to your comment about the silliness of some peoples religious beliefs...but...no, I;m not making any argument to that effect, at all.
I noted that -I- couldn;t believe what you believe based on your description of it, and, ofc, what that description lacked. It;s not really a choice I make.
