RE: Our Purpose In Life

Well I'd first propose a deeper purpose related question.
It's not so much "what is a humans purpose" because were a product of evolution but what is the reason cells combine to form everything we are?
Cells form life as we know it, not just us but all life, why have they been programmed to act so, imo they cannot decide to act as they do by themselves, just like a computer programme someone has to input the instructions.
If you go back down the chemical chain that makes cells these ingredients are deliberate imo, if you look at what atoms form, stars, rock, nebulae, hydrogen, carbon all the ingredients to form a universe and that are needed for life itself exist.
If the universe truly came from nothing and I mean with no force or power of intelligence then why isn't space empty? or why does it not just have planets formed of rock? why all this element after element that forms what we know ..... which just so happens to be what's needed for any of what we have to exist.
Things could have been a hell of lot simpler.
