Centring or centreing just doesn't look right, so if I want to use that word - if it even is a word - I just use the American spelling... centering... and hope no-one notices

For us Brits the correct response is to take the 'e' out.

So it's "centring". Does that like better?

Personally I prefer American spellings as they tend to make more sense. So----I guess----I'm a treacherous Brit
