I like that in religion you feel like you belong to some group. I like that Christians look out for other Christians. A feeling of safety if you will. When I was religious I really loved going to church because it was a nice place for socialization. I knew most people in town through church. I still feel nostalgic when I see kids enthusiastically going to church. Smile

My Christian boyfriend and his Christian family are some of the best people I know. They've made these last couple years bearable for me and I don't think I would have made it without them. I don't mind them doing their thing and they don't mind me not participating. They are a stark contrast from my own Christian family who don't seem to care much about me at all, showing me that you can't judge people entirely by their beliefs. We can get along just fine as long as we see each other as people first.

So okay, I'm not directly complimenting religion, but I am including religious people just as much as I would anyone else.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

At least I'm not afflicted with religion.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Some religious people really do good in the world, and are great people to meet and be around. Usually the ones that don't take their religion too seriously.
