Well, here's mine. I got one kudo, and there's a mix of active, inactive members, and some who appear to be a mix of the two (due to apparently having recent "last visited" points but no recent posts for several years, most notably Darwinian.

Also, apparently, I'm Oin son of Groin, if I'm getting my Google Search right.



And now we're reminded of more members gone.

We should do a modern one of those .

Preferably with something that A) I've actually seen, or B) has pretty distinct personalities. Seriously, looking through TVTropes' character sheet and several Tolkein-related Wikis, the only things I know about Oin son of Groin are that 1) he was probably a soldier, 2) he has some good medical skills, and 3) has a kick-ass beard. And, if that's all Tolkein's legion of fanboys can come up with, I'm not sure if I sat through all 12 hours of the movie or bothered to read the book, I'd learn much more.
