I'm late coming to this thread. Did I miss a memo or something? Did our theists (Drich, GC, Lil Rik, MK, etc.) decide to have a contest to see who could most completely misrepresent science? Jesus!

I get paid to deal with idiots in the morning. It's too early in the day to volunteer my time.

it's a play on valkyrie's thread pop corn God.. I made this 'pop corn science' but dropped the pop corn god and added the word science.. To show the same people who used the pop corn god frame work to satirically tear apart religion could not introspective look at their own beliefs and see the error, rather they took offense and tore apart the satirical frame work of pop corn science.

Then I spend a great deal of time point out the hyprocrisy of it all and then use the topic to show greater faith in pop corn science than in pop corn God.

ever been to hati or a place like that trying to provide help? there is NO placebo, No warm and fuzzie, there is only this sucks and why am I here? then oh, yeah the people who need help. and so you trudge through..

Yes, actually...and I;ve taken a fuckin hit for those people.  It;s pointless to play this card.  

Whereas...I;m guessing, you opened your wallet and gave your money to a church that -wink wink- uses that money to "help people".  IIRC..the church you give your money to was recently exposed as a giant scam.....that you defended nevertheless.  I think it's hilarious how reliably suckers will defend the people who con them.

Or wink wink I went to a place that needed help on that scale and worked there for a few years...
