Would you like to revise your earlier statements then, and claim that a paper airplane is intelligent, for example, since it was also created by us?   I feel like you're reflexively disagreeing more out of fear, than sense.

I don't think we have failed to explain things to him. I think we have explained things to him and he's failed to make sense of our accurate explanations.
