I'm a believer but I approach carefully the so-called apparitions ... especially such as dreams. I also agree with the fact that you don't believe everything you hear and even you see ... 
but never doubt that your mother is telling the truth, though sometimes this true seems to be not sensible or stupid ...I've never lied to my daughter, sometimes I didn't say anything but I did not lie ... so never assume that your mother could lie to you ... she maybe just believe in this so much....
My mom also had a weird dreams...
