Why can't I leave?

Yet you created a thread asking people to tell you what they think. 

Yes "I care less" is pretty ambiguous, it suggests that the level of caring can be lowered, meaning that there is still some degree of caring. Better to say "I couldn't care less" if that is what is meant.

As for "why can't I leave?". Religious people have a tendency to want to feel persecuted, cause their god usually tells them other people will not like you because you speak the "truth". It has a twisted way of reinforcing their beliefs.

Also we're a predatory species & fighting is in our nature though we don't usually like to admit it in public.So we all like engaging in some level of conflict from time to time.
