I think most theists fall back on things like:
How do you explain existence? (This implies that rather than simply accepting there are things we do not know, they need answers regardless of the accuracy of those answers.)
What is the meaning of everything? (This implies theists are simply searching for meaning in their lives and assume that everyone else must be as lost as they are.)
Don't you think there's something out there bigger than you? (This implies that they believe atheists are so ridiculously self-involved that we don't understand the concept of things being beyond our understanding, which is insanely insulting.)
If you don't believe in god, what do you believe? (This relates heavily to the same concept of theists simply searching for meaning in their lives.)
At the end of the day, I believe it is many theist's inability to understand that some people see the world differently than they do.
