RE: DNA Proves Existence of a Designer

It;s got to be frustrating to know that an atheist is only concerned with the one thing the faithful never get around to providing.
They'll put their god in opposition to biology (or..really, any and every bit of science).... no problem.
They'll put their god in opposition to common human decency.
They'll put their god in opposition to the state.
They'll go on and on and on forcing their god into direct competition with any real thing, when all they ever had to do..and the only thing they -can- do.....if they want to be winsome, is produce a single god. If any of them ever get around to doing that...all of their work will still be ahead of them - but at least they'll have made that very first step.
The main occupation of folks like this, though..is poaching believers from competing cults, and that really doesn;t set them up for success outside of the space where people already believe in some sort of silly god. They;ve been practicing with an absurd handicap...and that;s why it goes to shit when they eventually find us here, from page one post one. imo.
I long for a believer to show up not looking to argue their god into existence by arguing against other real things...but, instead, to show that their god belongs in the category with those real things. That god and biology are both true, rather than god being true because biology is false. There;s really no way around it. If god can only be real if this other thing x isn;t..and the other thing x simply cannot be discarded by any means...then their god isn;t real. No argument can salvage it, and they;re the ones who tanked it. If a believer can;t take their own god seriously enough to do this...why should anyone else?
-and pursuant to the above, something that always strikes me as incredibly counter-intuitive with this intelligent design by irreducible complexity shit, is that it argues against itself and it;s vision of god from every angle.
The incredibly powerful and super smart author of life designs this fantastically complicated and effective system.....that can;t do what we see it doing...? It;s so well designed, that it;s incapable of the thing it;s designed for? So what is a person failing to address with any sincerity here? Do they not actually believe that the system is all that inexplicably badass..or do they not actually believe that their god could make a fucking cart that works?
Both?
It's a case example in the phenomenon of confounding doctrine. This list of things so simply and tersely false by relation to each other that, for a great many people, the brain just gives up trying to make sense of the insensible. The "mysterious ways" of god are all too often nothing more or less than a well documented (and otherwise useful) cognitive misfire. A way of dealing with a loop.
Thanks for that one, evolution! Or....did god screw up brains as badly as he punted it with genetics ala intelligent design.....? These are the questions, lol.
