The evils of Islam

There is not one religion in our species history that has been 100% violence free. Certainly the Koran is used to justify violence, but so has every holy writing worldwide. One can only argue that one part of the world is still stuck in it's own dark ages. No one label owns a patent on human cruelty. 

Religions have come in gone in our short 200,000 year evolution as a species. What has not changed is that humans have always been capable of both cruelty and compassion.

You can only work for a more peaceful world, but no one label is ever going to dominate the entire planet. I'll take a Malala, or Ann Frank or Martin Luther King Jr even if those believers hold claims I know are not true.
