Tyre is still there, and people aren;t having trouble finding it. This was a failure of the magic eight ball you take magic book to be..certainly..but your own inability to simply accept that the city exists is even sillier than their prophetic fail.
This is why no one takes you, your magic book, or your god seriously. You don;t..so why should we?
