I think theres an amusing dynamic at play when people horrified by abhorrent policies and actual events are held to task over a moral highground in making a dead on comparison. It allows the vermin rooting for concentration camps to do what they do because its just what they do.... and gives those vermin allies in browbeating people who are disgusted beyond the point of politeness.
It;s a great way for a minority to overcome the majority..split it;s ideological enemies up into bickering factions.
