Granted, he may actually be completely oblivious..nevertheless..and despite what he said about why he signed his eo....because of course he;s just hoping to shuffle them off to an internment camp together...but......some people might actually think that he does have a point. Some people who may not have really given it much thought uintil they imagined that their own children would be or could be or should be kidnapped and raped...if this can be done to someone elses.
Basic reciprocity. It;s not always nice..but it;s incredibly compelling to human beings.
-and yes, I do think that there are points in which holding up that ugly mirror and responding to brutality with brutality are effective..even if they aren;t fair in some novel sense, or high road adjacent in any sense.
