Hah, I missed this one. I wouldn;t put him in the category of people equally willing as the rights fanatac, no. Nor do I identify with people who tweet mean things at the pres. I don;t even tweet. I do note, however... that we are approaching the sort of cliff where partisanship in the old sense of the word may become useful...and the suspicion that the people may one day need to do some physical thing about a tyrannical government is approaching a reality. The right operates on a theory that..ultimately, they can do whatever they want because the left is demoralized, and even paralized into submissive inactivity. That they could reshape the world in their image because the other guys are limp wristed pussies.
I think people like pete say the sorts of things he says before we go over that cliff, but probably wouldn;t even begin to enact out the contents of his tweet. Whereas there is at least some portion of the left that probably wouldn;t do anything remotely like the contents of that tweet but would stand up and take physical action against the sort of american gestapo that caused him to blurt out that shit in the first place.
@ The above. Yeah..I often say similar things when one of my kids smacks the other in the face. "Hey, we should smack you in the face, see how you like it. " I..ofc, don;t smack them in the face..no more so than pete set up to kidnap the presidents kid. He said an ugly thing, and he meant to say an ugly thing, and it was in response to the ugly thing he said which is actually occurring.
