Giraffe Killer

I haven't seen anything that would indicate that it was poaching or illegal. I also don't know what or if any restrictions are place on hunting giraffe in that area.  I would agree, that this would be another matter if she acted unlawfully.  I do think that it is good, that she gave the meat to the local people to help them.  You read some stories, where people kill the giraffe, and just take the tail leaving the carcass behind.  This also makes me question if they are doing so illegally (although I suppose that they could claim they where feeding the local wildlife).   I don't think that her individual motives matter, although I think that it can be unhealthy if one has an attitude of killing or causing suffering indiscriminately.

Giving the meat means nothing it sounds like a cover to excuse the act.

I don't know. Maybe you should tell that to the many people who will get to eat a decent meal, when they wouldn't have otherwise had one.

We weren't there when it happened and there's always three sides to every story. It's sad that a giraffe died. But if it was suffering or just really old, then it was put out of its misery and it will be feeding those who need it most.
