You are more likely to be hit by a car on the way there. Also the mortality rates for the little human is of more of a concern.
Okay, that is a strange way to dismiss putting someone's life in danger. Is that the benchmark then? It's okay to force people to do things, to protect the safety of another for which you consider them responsible, if you don't exceed the danger of them being run over?
