Well, he's supposedly working through the medium of divine men. It would have been simpler, after all, to just fax the damn book down to us. God is supposedly all powerful, yet he can only work through certain fallible men? Seems rather suspect to me. The problem is that the more apologies theists make for this supposed god, the less like a god he seems.
