Brian, there would be no way to know the right interpretation for humanity or it would be extremely difficult for them to unite on it if and only if God didn't prove people who hold the Authority regarding religion and provided them with clear proofs that they are the true representatives and the ones who can facilitate reason and the ones who humans are to turn to when not knowing and who to seek the answers from when ignorant regarding something.

For once, stop repeating everything like a mantra, and reflect. Yes, almost every person who is misguided will think their opinion is correct.

I for MOST of Islam, DO NOT hold an opinion but withhold it because I don't know. It would be easy for me to say I do know but for most of Islam, I withhold having an opinion.

Now we have gone from "correct interpretation" to "misguided'.

You can play with the words, but the argument still is the same regardless of sect, "I got it right, and everyone else got it wrong". 

EVERYONE argues that. So what.

Lucky us, all 7 billion of us have you to tell us.

The point is you can't equate those on the truth and clear proofs with those who are not.  You want to lump them all together because they all claim they are right is your choice, but at the end, there is clear distinction to truth that is proven clearly and falsehood that is followed on conjecture, and there is difference between clear guidelines and ambiguities, and there is clear difference between what has proof and signs for from the book and what has no evidence but is conjecture and followed with no proof what so ever. 

As for the Muslims, they have united to ignore clear proofs and follow ambiguities from the book and attribute what they don't know is true to God and his Messenger.  You aren't to dismiss Mohammad and his family, due to them.

Rather, you are to search out God's proofs and reflect, and not assume everyone is wrong as well not assume any group officially today has it right regarding religion as well.

You are to find out not assuming the worst has happened and not assuming it has not.
