Black holes ARE a misnomer. They are enormous celestial bodies with great mass and density, surrounded by empty space - that doesn't fit any definition of a "hole" I can think of.
Yeah I realized after I said it that wasn't a good example. The rest of my argument still stands though.
Either a straw has one hole, or holes don't exist by BB's definition.
This reminds me of that internet viral video of the guy trying to explain how fish aren't wet.
