We need more politicians like him.
If trump not moronically ignited the unprecedentedly disgraceful personally pissing contest with him, and if he had been up for re-election, then whether he would have been principled enough to have resisted the de-spinalization of his party longer than his friend Graham is hard to say.

All 45 could do is put out a short sentence. It pissed me off in any case knowing how he attacked him.
Obama and Biden(whose son died from cancer too) both put out short eloquent speeches.
Bush Jr and Obama are going to be giving parts of his Eulogy. Guess who will not be there?
That would be the orange menace that was told to stay the fuck away from the funeral. He will probably still try to crash it in some way.
While I didn't think much of his politics, McCain had balls of steel. Sadly for the GOP McCain has taken the only balls they had to the grave.
Any ball can appear hard when there is boiling personal animosity towards the party leader and one is not up for re-election.
Other allegedly metalic balls on the republican side turned out to be metal paint on aged and uncooked eggs when election approaches, and spray yoke, egg white, and hydrogen sulfide everywhere at the least pressure.

Yes. We need to create boiling personal aunimosity between every republican politician and trump, and then make sure they are all soon to die so they have nothing to lose from opposing trump.
