If God actually exists, and is truly good, then all truly good people should be rewarded regardless of what they believe.

That is not how it works. At least in theist minds. In simple logic? Sure. Theists, however, cannot work that out.

While this is true,  what one believes often affects the status if someone is good or bad.

What an evil thing to say. In your borked faith, it matters not whether anyone was good,

Oh great. I don't have to be good or moral or anything according to you.

Also to the extent we are honest to ourselves and honestly strive for the truth is also a key determinant of one's goodness, on the extreme end of evil is when one is stubborn to God's proofs and opposes God's light and tries to do away with it with conjecture and speaking and holding on to falsehood and preferring it over truth all out of rebellion to God and his chosen ones.

First I want to point out that if a Christian is only following Jesus in this life for the sole purpose of attaining paradise, he/she is probably going about it the wrong way. We should be following Jesus because Jesus is good, and we desire goodness for it's own sake. Even if Heaven didn't exist at all, as humans, most of us naturally have a certain attraction and admiration towards that which is good.

As for what the afterlife will be like, exactly, that I don't know. It is a matter of faith. But we can deduce that IF God does in fact exist, and if God truly is goodness and love, then being completely consumed within Him will be the ultimate fulfillment.

Yeah but you are an admitted canibal, or one who rejects what catholicism actually says. You don't get to have opinions because you hold conflicting opinions which are mutually exclusive.

Desiring proximity to God and loving his creation for the face of God that is in them vs desiring goodness for goodness sake, I would say the former is the heart of goodness while the latter is just conjecture people came up with but has no meaning.

Exept to kill you, or cast you into hell for eternal torture, or even to just ignore except that god is holy because he appear in a stupid bronze age holy book
