eternal recurence
does gravity exist? ya

do minimums and maximums exist? ya

was the big bang a product of a central point in the universe pulling all matter towards an object such as a black hole? no idea

but it seems logical..

anyways if matter does not change, and we mash everything together into a single point, and it explodes.. and the out come of that explosion is us..

over time wouldnt this central point of force pull matter back , the exact same matter, causing the exact same explosion whose outcome is us, and me writing this..

am i doomed to live this life over and over forever?

You were doing fine up to that point.

Why would you make an assumption that everything would turn out the same?

Just toying with the concept for a moment...

Law of Infinite Probabilities: Given infinite time and/or space, anything that can happen, however unlikely, will happen.

If the universe explodes and contracts an infinite number of times, the odds approach 1:1 that we'll get a replication of results at some point.

because im assuming for the explosion to happen matter has to be compressed as tight as it can possibly be, like a jigsaw puzzle coming together, and since matter cannot be created or destroyed it would form in the same way, since it formed in that way before and ended up creating us..

the way it formed before is the way it had to form, the matter is compacted to the point in my mind where it is at its most base subatomic level, and since its all the same stuff, its the same explosion...

its like if you have a handfull of putty, theres only one way to compact it as efficently as possible into the smallet amount of space possible, you compact it perfectly and due to the laws of our universe the putty explodes, then you go around the room and collect all the puddy again, every single atom of it, and you do the same thing, same laws, same matter, same explosion, and the same result , the puddy flies into the same places...

if this is true can you imagine how many times we have written this Tongue

The notion that things would always turn out the same seems almost "religious" in concept.

it follows logic

if you break something down to it's smallest partical and try to fit it into the most compact configuration possible it can only fit together one way.. then boom

when it happens again same matter, same laws.. same boom

we cannot re-create an explosion because we are not perfect.. laws of nature are

anyways this is my poke at whats going on. hope im wrong

the part i question is if the big bang was caused by a high point of gravity attracting everything to it.. not sure if thats true just something i thought sounded logical.. ya know once the force of the explosion is effected by inertia then the center of gravity begins making the expaninding universe retract

There is no central point. The big bang happened/is happening everywhere at the same time as every point in the universe is expanding away from every other point in the universe.

Don't think of the big bang as if it were like a bomb exploding. The closest analogy I can come up with is asking you to pinpoint the centre of the surface of an expanding balloon or sphere. No point on that surface can claim to be the centre anymore than any other point. The same is true for the universe except with the addition of a third dimension.

odd it was described in school as everything becoming compacted together then blowing up
