As it is with all things, if you don't love what you are doing, you are bound to fail at it at some point, in some way. A person should follow Jesus because they value, and have a real desire for, goodness and truth.
Really? What is YOUR position on contraception? Your's and yours alone, nobody else's. Tell me what that is, please.
Nah, I don't like the way you talk to me on these forums or what you say about me. Your demand for me to answer you here doesn't help either.
I will have to opt out of engaging with you, sorry.

I believe the 20th Century is overwhelming proof of the contrary.
I know it is always a battle between our greed and our desire for goodness. And I know the latter doesn't always win, not by a long shot. But wouldn't you agree that the desire for goodness still exists inherent to humanity, even if selfishness ends up being stronger?
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
