Don't do that. Ever. Big box store computer tech positions are one of the only places a person can get hired with no computer tech experience or skills. Its the entry level position in that game. If things go well for a new hire, they start there, fuck shit up for a few months while they're learning, get to the point where they've got basic level skills and then get a job someplace better. If things don't go well, they start there, fuck shit up and that's their entire career path. I used to make pretty good money fixing the shit those ass wipes would fuck up.
Find a local independent shop or freelance tech to do your troubleshooting and repair.
